2011 went like a bull out of the gates- I took my band around the country fully twice on national tours- both supports and headliners- and did a couple of other smaller runs too; plus the odd one-off show peppered here and there on top of all that. By the end of it all, we had a pretty tight show happening- a good intensive stretch of experience got us really firing.

I have a moment! The last few weeks have been pretty flat out. I did a small tour, with my guitarist Alex, on a double-bill show with a Melbourne singer named Brooke, AKA Owl Eyes. I recently read a book that had been sitting on my book-shelf, or rather, my parents bookshelf, for years. I picked it up for no particular reason- I was visiting my folks house and, without too much thought, and after passing it in the hallway for the millionth time , decided I’d stop passing by it and read it.
